(The owner of this site has wasted months in jail due to - as printed in the local newspaper and court records - "allowing the expression of opinions that are derogatory to David Rushing and Shamrock Economic Development Corporation". But, isn't the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America designed to OUTLAW and such ruling? Welcome to Shamrock, Texas!!! By the way, the owner of this site also has a subsequent court ruling in which the earlier ruling is referred to as "an unconstitutional condition" which was AN UNCONSTITUTIONAL CONDITION OF THE COURT FORMULATED BY NONE OTHER THAN LYNN SWITZER.)

You must be entirely stupid or have a very, very twisted sense of what you believe to be reality in Scamrock! I don't see the logic whatsoever in what you are doing!
You need to realize that KRMN 92.7 and KBKH 92.9 are, in fact, the same radio station. The only change was from a Class A (92.7) to a Class C2 (92.9)! KRMN and KBKH are THE SAME radio station!
I also hate to tell you that, even if you succeed in getting KBKH 92.9's license revoked, you will not get it or KRMN back on the air. What you fail to recognize is when you have a stations license deleted, it is next to impossible to get it back. For you to get 92.7 or 92.9 on the air, you'd have to file an application in an acceptable FCC window. You missed your chance just a few weeks ago in the Commercial FM Auction. Sorry pal, but you aren't getting KRMN/KBKH! Not only will Terry see to that, but so will I and the others who support Terry and KBKH! (I'm NOT speaking on his behalf whatsoever, I'm speaking based upon MY OPINION ONLY and what I understand the truth to be!)
Go look at the KRMN and KBKH FCC Facility ID number. GO. Look! You done? They are exactly the same. Don't get KRMN-LP confused with KRMN-FM, as they are two totally separate entities and are completely unrelated.
Also, even if it were to happen, you can't have a Government Licensed station in your name. The FCC doesn't work like that David. You would be General Manager or something.. but not owner of a CITY OWNED station. Unless you buy KBKH, but we know, that will never happen either.
I just have a hard time understanding, but maybe it's because I come from another part of the country where our government ins't corrupt and our EDC Chairman doesn't spend hundres of thousands of dollars of the taxpayers money sitting on his fat ass printing out stuff form this website. I wonder, could you actually do you real job and do good for the community if you weren't harassing, abusing and trying to fraudulently arresting Terry Keith Hammond??

I don't let others insult, harass, falsely arrest or defame my friends in anyway. I've known Terry for almost 8 years and I consider him a very good friend. You've crossed the line with me and it really upsets me that you continue. I will not take this lying down. I stand up for my friends and that's what I intend on doing for terry in this case. I'm not going anywhere or disappearing anytime soon, so get used to that.
Don't be surprised if you hear me on KBKH 92.9 more often in the near future, as I'm in the process of purchasing commercial advertising time on Terry's new online station to promote my new website and let all the resident know the TRUTH and what is really going on in SCAMROCK. By the way, I know you've visited my site on SEVERAL occasions and I can't wait to see how you react when you realize that, by harassing and abusing Terry so much and for so long, all that you have accomplished is to create one hugely determined group of very dedicated people who will stop at NOTHING to see that SCAMROCK becomes a name known around and laughed at around the world as "Crystal (Meth) City, Texas"...

Dear Keith,
Please publish this letter to your website. It's contents more accurately reflect the sentiments of the community in which you reside than you know.
Without going into great detail, I want you to know that I am a previous resident of Shamerock. My decision to move my family to a new community was mostly based on what horrendous atrocities I observed the local townsfolk put you, your family and your business through. And, without hesitation, I openly admit that you were screwed over in every sense of the term! But, if I might just touch on one final conclusion that I and my family and friends have observed: You have Won!!!
Why do I say that you have won when we all know this matter is far from being settled and, in all likelihood, will go on for another good number of years? Because, my friend, you have managed to overcome that one single element of these most heinous attacks on you: You are now free to tell the story of what was done to you and you are telling it far and wide!
While we were still in Shamerock, we observed that most of what is interpreted as "fact" has to do with whether or not Toby Brooks has printed it and (to a lesser extent) what it appears to be that Toby Brooks "reads into the story". In other words, due to Toby's relationship with David Rushing, Rick Walden and various other "wheeler-dealers" in town, Toby is obligated to propagandize at their every whim and this is the local "truth" as told by the "County Slur News".
Now, from where we now reside, the "County Slur News" is something that no one has ever even heard of but, there are more than a few people who can tell me that they know a good deal about Shamerock, Texas, because "I've read about that place on some radio station website and it's a place that I would not feel safe in!"
Recently, I attended a conference and, during the introductions, it was mentioned that I had previously worked in Shamrock, Texas. At the mention of the name, someone asked me "Is it true that Shamrock is run by Mafioso?" After laughing a bit, I was finally able to explain that, while Shamrock may not be run by true Mafioso, there (as Bill Mack would say) certainly is "a snake under every rock" and those snakes are always looking for some naive fool to bite!
Now, here are my observations of your effect on the "Mafioso" to date: David Rushing is a miserable and nervous wreck. He constantly exists in a state of fear that certain "stories" from his past will be investigated and reported on by you. (Hint #1: Call Wal-Mart corporate and inquire into a couple who once worked in one of the Odessa, Texas, stores. Wal-Mart, as a general policy, will refuse to go into specifics but they will tell you whether or not David and Dottie Rushing would be listed as "no re-hires" with the company. Employment records can also be subpoenaed, should you ever really want to accomplish a complete "character assassination". Hint #2: see who you can find who can recall the bank deposit - on the order of $40,000.00 - that "never made it to the bank" from a local business while the deposit was in the hands of David Rushing. Hint #3: See if a gentleman in Wellington, Texas, is still just a bit "put-off" because David Rushing jumped out of a lease and left a very damaged building behind while pocketing the insurance settlement on the damages.) As these "tip of the iceberg" stories so very easily demonstrate, David is a mess these days and lives in constant fear that you will be able to tie together all of his crimes.
Dottie Rushing, on the other hand, is simply ashamed of her husband. She knows that he has committed some terrible crimes against you and others. She knows that he has violated every possible seal of legitimacy in his position of power. She knows that it's just a matter of time before his crimes are revealed and she knows that he should be sitting in one of those hot Texas prisons, right now. But, she continues to stand up for him in public. Don't let this fool you! I've seen her in action! She tears at David like a wild dog when no one else is around! It's a constant argument about how "I hope that radio station is worth it to you! You're ruining our lives over that radio station! Why did you do what you did and why do you keep doing it? Why not just let it go because this is embarrassing us all!" Dottie has even become ashamed to be seen in public with David and that can't be good at all toward making him feel better about himself and others in the community know it, too.

The following "Letter To The Editor" was sent to Toby Brooks, owner of the local "County Star-News" on January 16, 2007, by a local listener and is now presented in it's entirety as a promise that we would print it in the event the local newspaper chose to not present the letter as was requested by the author. Obviously, after more than six months, for some reason, the County Star-News has chosen to maintain it's silence concerning the criminal activities that continue within the community. Therefore, that letter is presented here in exactly the same form n which it was sent to the County Star-News:
Toby, I want this in your newspaper. There are two sides to every story!
A convicted felon is defined as someone who has been tried in a court of law and found guilty resulting in an imprisonment. There are so many innocent people who are in prison today. Thanks to for DNA's appeals, injunction reliefs and a good attorney, many of them are set free. But, what about the damage it has done to the families and to the person who has been incarcerated? I remember the case on the Tulia residents where a white crooked cop whose background check was either ignored by the city council or not checked at all. The police officer arrested many black residents for drugs. Thanks to many concerned organizations and law students from New York, those people were freed and the officer were on charges. I think the city needs to check the backgrounds of these officers and take peoples complaints serious instead of ignoring the problems as they know is occurring. And how about here in Shamrock. Do we have that same problem? I know there are many nice state troopers here but I know some that think they are above the law... What about our Economic Development Corp. Do we have an idea what they are all about? Are we blind or just don't want to get involved?
In an article, Toby, that you wrote, you stated that Keith Hammond is a convicted felon and will lose his radio station. Well, he did not. At least, to my knowledge, its still going. And he is innocent of all charges that he was accused of. He just did not have a swift lawyer. Keith has informed this town about the drug dealing DA that was later indicted and convicted. He has brought news and information out through his radio station. But I know someone made it impossible for him to make a living here. They took time to dig into his life to maliciously ruin him and his family. What about the improper search and seizure that three guys made at his place of residence. Yes, it was not his building, but there are ways to go about evicting someone out of a building instead of barging in and frightening two small children with guns waking the whole family by surprised. They took all of their equipments over $10,000 worth (Editors Note: Actually, the equipment was valued at more than $80,000.) and returned it back damaged to them calling it an accidental misappropriation. That seizure probably was a way to get access into his computer so they could accuse him of slander. Is there a one way justice here. You know people will get sick and tired of this and people will be held accountable for a lot of things. The Lord said that before you start taking the splinter out of someone elses eyes, take the plank out of your own eyes. Also, thou shalt not bare false witness against thy neighbors only. Toby, if you were wrongfully convicted, I'm sure you would not want someone to say that you are a convicted felon in the newspaper. Just like an attorney once stated, "There's a certain person who is an instigator." Greed and corruption will eventually get the best of us and just because you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, that don't mean you will go to Heaven. Keith will have his justice soon enough. People are quick to believe in lies and gossips but justice always prevails. I pray for all of us and that we are able to forgive each other and our enemies will come together as one in Jesus's name.
