The Death Threat
But it's NOT a Real Death Threat (You figure that out!)
July 20, 2007 -- You may have noticed that we had made yet another attempt at setting up a Community Bulletin Board several weeks back. What we found is that the more repugnant of the local criminal conspiracy simply have absolutely no pride in themselves and/or the community in general and resorted to making public death threats and even posting their names and telephone numbers with their (very grammatically challenged) threats!
The message (below) was posted to the new forum by one a member of the more "affluent" families in town. (When you live in a community that takes PRIDE in such people, who would think the area might possibly have "PR Problems"?)
After posting the original mention that this story would soon be posted here, I received yet another threatening telephone call from Jill Jernigan-Campbell. She just wanted to tell me that "I have not EVER threatened you and I never said anything bad about you or your little girls!" She further asserted that I have "made yourself out to be a complete idiot by putting that on the internet" and that I "should be committed for putting that up there for people to see."
All of this causes me to ask the (very valid) question: What was she smoking, drinking or snorting when she posted the (below) message ON THE INTERNET FOR EVERYONE TO SEE? I merely copied it here and pointed it out. Or, is it the fact that I pointed it out as yet another of the Rushing/Switzer sanctioned crimes that will forever go unpunished because "Jill is ONE OF US..." You decide but, in my book, "i wish you would die and will do all i can to get you killed" is a fairly well accepted DEATH THREAT! Of course, this is Shamerock, Texas, and I'm sure the local "DA" and/or "Sheriff's Department (Rick Walden) would like to prosecute ME for "making possible and allowing the passing of interstate threats"...
Please forgive both the vulgarity as well as the grammar but, apparently these goons have either no concept of "legalities" and/or no shame at all as there are more death-threats (from across state-lines) as yet another "Rushing criminal" checks in from Memphis, Tennessee, to complain about the fact that we stand up and speak out so that the truth is known:
